“Dogs are Our link to paradise” -Mila Kundara

Wally! Wow, I really love this little dog. He is the first dog that I have had, can you believe it? I grew up with cats (I love cats too!), and my parents never said yes to a canine companion. Well, Wally was well worth the wait.

Wally is a rescued dog from South Korea, he was flown all of the ways to California where a local dog rescue put him up for adoption. We saw him on the internet and after a lot of sad faces and not-so-subtle hints, Andrew agreed to go meet him. Lucky me!! At this time his name was Kyle, not quite the right name for this guy. Long story short, we adopted him, and boy are we a lucky pair of humans.

Wally is incredibly loyal, kind, and just overall perfect. At least for us. He is not trusting of new people (no touching!), but he would never bite someone. He just pretends not to see or hear them. He never barks, follows me everywhere, and is just a joyful little dog that can win over just about anyone. We have two friends that are afraid of dogs but have fallen head over heels for this little guy. Even if he does play hard-to-get.

We try to bring Wally on as many of the adventures that we can. Sometimes if we know we will be going where pets aren’t allowed (sad), then he can stay at home. He rides on the train and the bus. Wally even has his own passport!

Wally likes: Running on sand and grass, sleeping, playing chase, eating treats, licking(so much licking!)

Wally’s Dislikes: Baths, nail trimming, and brushing his teeth
